The second video from M.E.'s demo performances at NAMM 2013

http://youtu.be/FaXgMCQG3FU

Performed by Cinja Pausewang and Mark "M.E." Edwards.

This video was filmed over the four days of NAMM in January 2013. M.E. performed at the SONIC CORE GMBH exhibit to demo their SCOPE XITE audio interface.

Besides the XITE interface, M.E. was also utilizing Steinberg's CUBASE 7, which is playing back his rhythm tracks. He is also utilizing the Cubase VST Amp Rack plugin as his guitar processor and amplifier simulator. All of the guitar sounds except for the Wah are being generated by the plugin. When Cubase V7 was released a month earlier, Steinberg included a set of custom VST Amp Rack presets that M.E.had designed. He utilized those presets here.

M.E. is joined by the very talented German singer Cinja Pausewang as they perform his arrangement of the Rolling Stones classic "Jumping Jack Flash".

Dates: January 24th thru 27th, 2013.

This was the first time that M.E. had performed TEARS OF ALLAH since 1991, and the two of them had no opportunity to rehearse together prior to the performance.

Per M.E.: "Urban had the burden of not only performing with me unrehearsed, but also singing around noon. Not the best time for a vocalist. I think everyone will agree, he did an excellent job on the song. Thanks Urban!"

Video of M.E. demoing the new VST AMP RACK plugin for Cubase 6. Filmed during the NYC Club Cubase event at GUITAR CENTER on 14th street in Manhattan, M.E. is performing his instrumental ballad LOVERS. The demo features a rare public appearance of his 1968 Gibson ES-335. Thanks to Sal Pelaez of Steinberg and Club Cubase for creating the new "epic" arrangement of the backing tracks specifically for the event, as well as creating and posting the video.

Video clips from M.E.'s upcoming solo CD.

In the mid 90's M.E. performed on a cable TV show in Piscataway, NJ called T-TIME. He performed three of his instrumentals live, playing along to programmed backing tracks. His guitar went straight to the board from his ART ECC, no amplifier utilized. The video will be included on an upcoming CD release from him. Two of the songs are available below. One song. LOVERS, was uploaded specifically to honor the memory of Gary Moore who died February 6, 2011. Gary was a huge influence on M.E. and specifically this song. You can hear how Gary's song PARISIENNE WALKWAYS directly influenced LOVERS.
